Antarctica
I worked at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole
Station for Raytheon Polar Services
Corporation from about November 3, 2002 to November 11, 2003. My
travel to get me to the South Pole included a flight to Auckland and
Christchurch, New Zealand. I was able to spend a few days in Christchurch
on the way to, and on my return from, the South Pole.

Asia
After working at the South Pole for a year, I was ready for some sun
and sand. On about November 15th, 2003, I left Christchurch for Thailand.
This trip took me through Auckland and Sidney. I flew into Bangkok where I
spent a few days before hooking-up, later in Jomtien, with a friend from
the South Pole, Frederick McDougal.
We traveled to an island called Kho Samet, where we rented some bungalows
and spent some time on, or near the beach.
I was recently working on an Island in the Indian Ocean called Diego
Garcia and now reside in the Philippines.

North America
I was born in Waukegan, Illinois, and have visited nearly every state
in the USA. I have also been to Vancouver and Winnipeg, Canada, and once
drove the AlCan highway through the Yukon to vacation in Alaska.
I have also been to Tijuana and once worked in Mexico City for about a
week.

Oceania
Travel to the South Pole took me through Auckland and Christchurch,
New Zealand. I was able to spend a few days in Christchurch on the way to,
and on my return from, the South Pole. I was also briefly in Sidney,
Australia while on my way to Thailand, but I was not able to leave the
airport.
